  7. This program will allows the user to configure PHDialer ver 1.4 and above.
  8. Users using PHDialer ver 1.3 and below do not require his program. This 
  9. program does work on PHDIALER.CFG.
  10.  
  11. This is a non-GEM program as it is used only once a blue moon and also it
  12. is easier to do a GOOD-OLD APPLE ][ style utility.

  15. Executing this program
  16. ----------------------
  17. Just double click on the program icon or name or highlite the name and press
  18. the hotkey for open.
  19.  
  20.  
  21. The menu
  22. --------
  23. Once running the user will be presented with the following options
  24.  
  25.         B)aud rate setting
  26.         E)dit the BBS/TEL entries
  27.         S)ave the entries on to a file
  28.         L)oad the entries from a file
  29.         C)onvert entries from v1.3 to v1.4
  30.         Q)uit
  31.         
  32. Pressing the reversed field single character will put the program into that
  33. mode.
  34.  
  35. Baud rate setting
  36. -----------------
  37. Set the default baud rate on entry onto PHDialer. Just select the number 
  38. that correspond to the baud rate of your choice.
  39.  
  40. Save entries into a file
  41. ------------------------
  42. This option allows the user to save the entries into a format that PHDialer
  43. will understands. This format is choosen for it's fast loading. The default
  44. pathname is C:\PHSTUFF\PHDIALER.CFG.
  45.  
  46. To save to displayed pathname, press <S>.
  47. To change the default pathname, press <C> and you will be prompted to enter
  48. the new pathname.
  49. To quit, press <Q>.
  50.  
  51. Load entries from a file
  52. ------------------------
  53. This option will load in the entries from a file. The default file is
  54. C:\PHSTUFF\PHDIALER.CFG.
  55.  
  56. To load from displayed pathname, press <S>.
  57. To change the default pathname, press <C> and you will be prompted to enter
  58. the new pathname.
  59. To quit, press <Q>.

  61. Convert from v1.3 to v1.4
  62. -------------------------
  63. Actually anything below v1.3 can be converted. The default pathname of the 
  64. source file is C:\PHSTUFF\PHDIALER.DIR.

  66. To convert from displayed pathname, press <D>.
  67. To change the default pathname, press <C> and you will be prompted to enter
  68. the new pathname.
  69. To quit, press <Q>.

  72. Edit entries
  73. ------------
  74. This allow the user to manipulate the entries in PHDIALER.CFG. Remember to save
  75. the entries after manipulation. This program is stupid in that it will not
  76. do a autosave for you.

  78.  Options        what it does
  79.  --------       -------------
  80.  up arrow       goto the next entry.
  81.  down arrow     goto the previous entry.
  82.    B            Change the BBS name of displayed entry.
  83.    T            Change the BBS telephone of the displayed entry.
  84.    S            Swap position between 2 entry.
  85.    A            Add a new entry to last position.
  86.    F            Find the BBS name.
  87.    J            Jump to a particular BBS number.
  88.    D            Delete the displayed entry.
  89.    I            Insert a new entry into current displayed position.
  90.    Q            Quit edit mode.
